It’s a wrap!

Just wanted to post one last blog thanking everybody who came to Buck’s T-4 in Big Sky, everybody who reads this blog and to everybody at Buck’s who worked so hard during our summer season.

Just before the season ended, the community gathered at a benefit held at the Corral bar and grill for Mary Reid, a Big Sky local that has been very ill with breast cancer and she is pregnant. It is heart-warming to see the community gather in support of Mary. Those who know her and those who do not all participated in effort to raise money.

The employees at Buck’s got to enjoy themselves at an end of the season party at the bowling alley in Bozeman. We took the big red Buck’s school bus (an icon of Buck’s) down to the bowling alley where we ate pizza and had pitchers of beer. We proved to not be the world’s best bowlers, but maybe the world’s most fun bowlers. Seth and Nick came in costume, dressed as old-time golfers from the 20’s. They looked great!

After we took the bus to a local bar in Gallatin Gateway, Stacey’s on the way home. Good thing we had a driver! Everybody extends a big thank you to Calvin for driving all of us around.

I am currently traveling through Minnesota and North Dakota with Big Sky Resort, Red Lodge Mountain and Bridger Bowl. We are promoting skiing in Montana and meeting lots of new people from the mid-west. We are happily spreading the word about skiing in Montana, offering some killer deals and making friends.

I may not be in Big Sky, Montana right now, but I have gotten reports of 2 feet of snow falling! Looks like we have a good start on winter, and I know many are hoping that the snow keeps falling and we have another incredible year like last year!

I will sign off for now, and will get back to you around Thanksgiving, to let you know what is happening in Big Sky and at Buck’s T-4 Lodge.
